WARNER ROBINS, GA- The 55th Annual Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will feature local artist and rising Nashville star, Colby Dee as Grand Marshal.? Presented by American Chiropractic Specialists, this year?s parade is themed ?The 12 Days of Christmas.?? Other parade sponsors include Dress Your Up Formals, Golden Key Realty and Robins Federal Credit Union.? The parade will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 with a 10:00 a.m. start at the intersection of Houston Road and Watson Blvd.
As incentive to enhance the competition for those vying for ?Best in Show? for each category, participants have been encouraged to use their imagination with theme-related decoration, creativity, originality and of course?music!? Last year?s ?Grand Marshal Award Winner,? judged by the Chamber?s Parade Committee, was West Plumbing.? They will follow this year?s Grand Marshal in the parade line-up.? The parade units will be judged by the Warner Robins Civitan Club.
The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is one of Georgia's largest Christmas holiday events and provides a great opportunity for area organizations and businesses to gain valuable exposure and show off their community spirit.? Each year thousands of community members attend this much anticipated holiday event where business owners, educational organizations and recreational entities unite in an effort to make the season jolly!? In addition to the thousands of spectators attending in person, radio listeners will be able to listen live to the parade broadcast on WRWR and television viewers will once again be able to watch the broadcast both on WRWR and on 13WMAZ at a later date (TBA).
